HAPTC AGM

Jennifer and I attended the HAPTC AGM. It was well attended and the new legal advisor Frank Abbott was present to answer questions. Two of the resolutions re PPG3 and open space funding stimulated a lively discussion.

In answering a question re risk assessment the legal advisor confirmed that no risk assessment can be safer than an inadequate one. However most parishes do seem to check their play equipment much oftener than we do.

The affiliation fees work out at 18.3p per elector possibly rising to 19.6p next year. This is better than smaller parishes eg Bramdean who pay 27p.
